what's this session about?

Together we’ll explore the latest research in psychology, neuroscience and mindfulness to take a balanced view of smart technology and how it can influence our lives.

As well as examining the benefits of smart devices, perhaps more importantly you'll also increase your understanding of how technology can become a distractor, divide your attention, affect relationships or even hold you back.

We’ll then look at ways for you to take back control, including the opportunity that switching off brings, so that your digital devices are no longer the boss of you!

This course is for anyone who would like to explore ways of minimising reliance on technology.

Requirements

Delegates will be expected to turn off their mobile phones and/or any other digital devices for the duration of the workshop and need to be open to some self-analysis within a safe and supportive environment.
