Imagine working your whole life to build stability, only to find yourself struggling to make ends meet. A sudden illness, an unexpected financial burden, or overwhelming stress – these challenges don’t discriminate. They can happen to anyone, at any time, often shattering your world. That’s where caba can help.

As the world changes, financial difficulties, mental and physical health issues and other concerns that affect daily life are becoming increasingly common. Getting the right support at the right time is more important than ever – and that means so is caba. To make sure that we no one gets left behind, we needed to shift our focus.

We’ve transformed our approach to make sure that we're there for those that really need us, with support that truly makes a difference. 2025 onwards focuses on providing immediate relief to those who need a helping hand, and offering preventative support to ensure no one else falls beneath the cracks.

For over 100 years, we’ve supported chartered accountants and their families through life’s ups and downs. Our new purpose strengthens that commitment, focusing on essential support when it’s needed most, and preventative support to help people stay on their feet. No matter what, we’ll always stick to our roots of helping chartered accountants and their families when they really need it. Your opinions matter, and we'll always use research and feedback to shape what we do.

“I thought my situation was so bad caba wouldn't be able to help. They allocated me a Support Officer, who offered to help me prioritise the debt and said he could negotiate with the creditors on my behalf. I was over the moon that someone was actually going to help me bear the weight of responsibility. ”

caba client

As a small business owner and young father, the pandemic brought tremendous pressure for me. I expected too much of myself and became overwhelmed - it made me ill. caba provided counselling, and I now have a better understanding who I am and what I need. I am more resilient and take much better care of myself as a result.
